DRLs in US and Europe?
I'm just wondering how DRLs work in US and in Europe.
In Canada, the BMW angel eyes (no rear lights just the angel eye rings) DRLs are on all the time because it's the law. What is it like in US and Europe? is it any different? is it legal to drive w/o DRLs? To be specific it would be US and Germany. Thanks |

In the US DRL are not required, however, many states require headlights to be on when visibility is reduced due to rain or snow. I think DRL are default to on in US 1ers, but you can turn them off in the computer settings if you desire. Don't know what European law is like regarding DRL.

Some countries they are required. Sweden, Denmark, Norway require headlights on all the time. Most other European countries it's optional.
