Jet Black 135

Spent this past Sat and Sun detailing the 135 and my girlfriend's Rover. The 135 is an Early Feb 2008 build and has seen a lot of track use and elemental contaminants. Needless to say, it was a LOT of work to correct the paint. The photos aren't detailed - but an overall finished result (forgot to take the nasty befores!)

135 (about 8 hours):

- wash and clay
- IPA wipedown
- full pass cutting pad and HD Uno polish (Porter Cable DA polisher)
- IPA wipedown
- full pass HD Uno - polishing pad
- IPA wipedown
- another full pass HD Uno - finishing pad
- IPA wipedown
- finished with HD Uno Poly - finishing pad
- tires/trim cleanup and dressing (Turtle Wax gel for tires)
- interior clean

Rover (less than a year old, only took 3 hours)

- wash and clay
- IPA wipedown
- full pass finishing pad and HD Uno polish (Porter Cable DA polisher)
- IPA wipedown
- finish pass HD Poly - finishing pad
- tires/trim cleanup and dressing
- interior clean

Thanks! Before I started the heavy stuff, I had to remove about a pound of bugs from my front bumper which I picked up on the spirited drive through the mountain pass to Steamboat Springs here in CO - went through the entire gallon of methanol
