Very cool and a fair price.

What is up with the flickering in the video?

there's an explanation on the flickering in the same link...

Cameras cannot fully capture the high powered angel eyes. Even when trying to capture a picture of these is EXTREMELY hard. luckily the great JZHANG was able to use his skills to do the best he could.

if you notice in the 2nd video, the OEM angel eyes on the new f10 5 series flicker as well. It's not an issue with the angel eyes. it's an issue with the cameras.

The flickering deals with the refresh rate I think.

Except that to fit HIDs to the halogen-equipped 128i requires much more equipment than just the headlights and also requires dealer programming If it didn't, I'd have European HIDs already.

Watch top gear and you will see that pretty much all new cars with Led's cause issues with the frame rates of the cameras.

Are the lights virtually plug and play for a 135i? Or are ther other ballasts or wires to run? Also, do you have a shot of these side by side compared to stock or the other Bulb replacements?

When you are taking them off, any chance you can put the stock one on and get a side by side. The reason i ask, is that my lights look much brighter in pictures. I believe thy are the GP thunder bulbs that the previous owner put in.

This kit is installed in the headlights and fully replaces the stock AE's with LEDs. Therefore, no ballast is required since they are not HID. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there is no reversing these once installed. I wouldn't think you would want to reverse these anyway.. I'd love to see pics in direct sunlight!

haha thanks

i'll try to snap a few today. the other day i got to see HID AE's and the LS1 AE's side by side. the HID's look like they're exploding in diffferent directions and they hurt to look at. the LS1's just look crispy clean.

I have HID AE's. They are so bright, people think I have my high beams on. From probably 15' away, they look like regular headlights. This is why I hope this kit is as great as it sounds.

Member Jori I believe had a couple Euro sets available for 850-950$ range (for left + right).

Try that. I have not seen a set go below that price range.

I'm talking about the LS1

@snell would you consider swapping it for an OEM set of lights and cash on top to cover for the LS1?
