The system revolves around the premise that there's one born every minute. In this case it doesn't really matter what the real story is, and one can only guess; it's for sale at that price. There's no right or wrong in free enterprise if the law is not broken. Morals, well that's another thing.

My understanding in NSW (VIC could be different) is that the dealer cannot make you complete the deal. BUT they can and I suspect will keep your deposit!

The thing that pisses me off is that I suspect this POS probably thought mmmmmm there is going to be very limited supply so I'm gonna go out and scalp one. IMHO someone should go and scalp this prick

Yeh I hear you!

BTW from your sig, you seem to be one of the few that will take delivery of a new 1m happy driving, although I wonder if you will notice a big jump from your current drive

Thanks.. There will deff be a jump down with power, but I am expecting the overall ride and drive ability will be greatly improved from the 135i, from all the reports that have been posted.
There is always the JB4 to increase the ponies..

If I have got a 1M to sell, I will try to sell it at what Mr Market is happy to pay. I am sure everyone would do the same if you are in the same situation especially if you still got right to the car. We don't need to be too harsh. My 2c.

I have no intention to use all the products in my business. Does it make me a prick that I sell them at a profit?

Does it make me a prick if I saw something really cheap on ebay, buy it and then resale it and make a profit?

Does it make me a prick if I bought a E30 M3, with no intention of driving it, below market value and then sell it at market?

If I want to get rid of my 1M urgently today and someone saw an opportunity to buy my car say at $100k. Is he a prick for buying the car with no intention of driving it but sell it at market?

Are you able to tell me in what circumstances that taking an opportunity to make a profit makes you a prick and when it doesn't?

edit: he might not make any money after all, as at the end of the day, market dictates all.

Are you a prick if you buy a ticket for the grand final with the express intention of selling it for a profit YES

We don't know if he had no intention of owning it. For all we know, he has paid a deposit and lost interest for 6months on a few thousand dollars.

And yes, if you buy tickets with the absolute intent on selling them for profit, then you are actually a smart person. And the person who buys them at that cost obviously thinks it's worth the cost.

Think about it, what about those people who missed out on good seats because they were at work, and couldnt get online to buy their own. They have the choice of missing out on said concert, or paying a premium for tickets that they missed out on in the first place.

Are you a prick if you bought the tickets to the grand final with intention of going, but end up selling at market price because you suddenly have other commitments?

What I know is wrong is judging a person who you don't know and in a circumstance that you know little.

Well according to cozza he said the following

Bugger it, I called the guy. Story is, he ordered it, put a deposit down, and now has had a change in financials, so can't go ahead. I said "you stand to make a profit on this". "Bloody oath", he replied, "try buy another one - you can't."

Try buy another one doesn't sound like the dude made a mistake and wants out, sounds to me like he planned it from the start

Well put Sparoz.. Agree 100%..

No one has a gun at the prospective buyers head, if any, to purchase.
