Last week we showed a teaser of our Project 135i as we get it ready to show at SEMA. If it wasn't obvious, we installed BMW's Performance Exhaust System and Performance Rotors for the front brakes. Not only were we totally thrilled that it worked after installing it ourselves, we were also blown away by the look of the white-stitched, black-leather-and-Alcantara trimming of this clever little device... Too true! The "performance" ssk, boot, and shift knob would look great.

Bryan, keep us posted as to the lint factor. With the gloss black trim, I find it hard enough to keep clean. I wonder what alcantara will do for dust accumulation.

Great post!

That would definitely look hot. I contemplated overlaying leather, but black leather against the black dash would have been too subtle.

Hmm, I've been thinking about doing this in order to match the boot that came with the SSK. It's nice to see what it would actually look like and as I thought it looks pretty darn good.
