I am wondering that as well. Did they chose 12 people at random from all applicants and just make sure at least 1 was a bimmerpost member. Or did they limit it to only 1 bimmerpost winner total, in which case maybe it was better odds to not enter as a bimmerpost member

There is total around 4000 people around the world registered to this event. So if U register this event by yourself, the chance will be 11/4000 which is much less than the chance though this forum.

I don't own a 1 series, however I have coveted one for years, particularly am M version... I own an E30 M3, and I guess I make the third of the twelve.

I have owned two E30 M3s over a 15 year period, the current is a dedicated track car, and it is actually currently getting an S54 transplant... the motor is in route.
I've been a member of this forum quite awhile, however not an active one, as I typically am found most often on S14.net. I'll be spending more time on E46 pages due to the swap..

PM sent to Jason, and I will send one to John in barcelona as well. So two from the US, one from Spain... curious as to the location/origin of other invitees...

Oh... and I *have* driven an E92 M3 on the track... back in 2008, but if someone wants to let me drive theirs for a more immediate comparison... I wouldn't say no. LOL
