Zuzu, it's possible to have early June delivery if it is a car that the dealer had already specced previously. I know for example that Doncaster BMW still had a car for early June delivery back in early March but you can't spec the car yourself obviously.

Way, so what you are saying is that if the dealer had my car in my combo specked out for his dealership then it could be possible..OK..fat chance..hahahaa..I have too many options fro that to happen..Looks like end of June then.

Actually most of the dealer spec ones are very highly spec, not unlike yours. It's those like me who wants a bare bone track car that will have to wait as no dealer will ever order a 135i in white with no option but active headlights! But yeah the chances of matching exactly to the 2 cars they have specced is obviously incredibly low!

The "UC72" part means 1 series. Not sure about the "30". You'll find UC72 in all the 1 series (hatch as well???) VIN numbers.

delivery at the end of june.....

meanwhile i am dreaming up wicked schemes of adding the bmw performance parts to my nonexistant car. so far i am sold on the sci-fi steering wheel, the black kidney grille and the cf spoiler if i can get someone here to do a quality install it for me.

in fact, to tell you the truth if installation issues were straightforward and reliable i would also get the cf diffuser, short throw shift kit, tii-style pedals and the little left and right side under-the-front-bumper-cf thingies.

but i really fear a botched job. rather like how you hear about the lady who goes for plastic surgery and ends up looking like a picasso painting

Ok I am about to order a second 135i. My business partner and I decided that we will make the 135i's our company cars. Unlike my povo pack track special (only active xenon as option), he wants it fully spec. What are the good options to get without getting silly? At the moment I am thinking full nav, roof, pro hi-fi, metallic (he wants black). What are the other good options to get?

That's about all you'd want, since out Aussie cars come loaded with lots of fruit anyway.

We don't hire academics! Lol. You are over qualified haha.

Called the dealer, agreed on a price and gave my credit card number. Pretty quick purchase given we only decided this morning to do that...

Way if he wants black, do NOT get metallic

The metallic black is significantly lighter (even more greyer i'd say) then the non metallic colour, I've gone for the nonmetallic jet black. It gives a *much* better colour, the down side is more swirls and holograms, but I've got Damian at final inspection to sort that out with regular Stage 1 details.

Take a look at the photo and video sub-forum for the black coupe thread. But otherwise good choice with the options, I've chosen exactly the same (bar metallic) I can't think of anything else, apart from the active headlights to keep up with you on night time runs :biggrin:

Smarm, thats all well and good but I have had both blacks in the past and the saphire(metalic) is far superior in regards to being less scratch resistant and still easier to clean. Being a lighter shade of black only enhances its richness in colour. My current 3 series is Saphire Black and honestly,I wouldnt even look at a non metalic in a dark colour.
But everyone to their own in way of taste.

I ordered him a metallic black. I don't think he cares. He just wants something dark. Haha

Yeah, that was exactly my point, thanks to the clearcoat, the non metallic is incredibly subject to swirls, holograms and spiderwebbing. But I think it's a darker colour and comes up much much better when looked after and regularly detailed (which I do with all my cars anyway!) Seeing what Damian can do with nonmetallic black makes me nurse a semi

As you said, each to their own. It's just that my view is the only view that's correct!
