330xi LOADED!!!!!
Well, all of you are responsible for this. I just picked up my. 330xi loaded with everything except active cruise control. I even got the sports package on this..I'm nuts. Car was produced on 10/19-10/23 and DOES PLAY MP3's within the idrive system.
Here are a few pics.. Thump Last edited by Thumpzilla; 10-19-2005 at 11:24 PM.. |

Same here. I specified 158s on the car I have ordered (and paid 1200 extra for them) because I they are my favourite alloys. The look tough, elegant and not too flashy and have the side-benefit of being easy to clean.
To each his own I suppose. |

Whhops, produced sept 19th. I was so tired, Nader from Paul Miller spent 3 hours with me programming and going over the car. Got home late and was beat
Floor mats are on order. IMO, in person the 158 rims(shown) blow away the standard rims on the car. I saw saw 2 side by side and was very very glad I wen the way I did. But as said before, to each their own. |

Nice car!
I don't like the wheels as much as the 330i ones, but it definitely doesn't look like a truck! I'm sure they are much easier to get snow out of as well.

Wow,Beamer06... caustic and abrasive, well done
I'm surprised at your comment given the fact that you have never driven a new 330xi. I know this because mine was one one the first to arrive in the area.
How do you know that it "don't handle" like a BMW is suppose to? (BTW..English major?) It handles great. If you live in the NYC area, are you really going to utilize the characteristics of the performance tires anyway? Just like LA, in NYC/NJ you spend your driving life in mosltly traffic .. My boss has the 650i and has gone through 3 performance tires and 1 rim in the last 3 months driving on the fine pot hole riddled streets of NYC . I didn't want to follow suit and then have to do the whole snow tire change thing as well. As they say to each their own. I agree with you Nikki that the 158's don't look as nice as the 330i/sp ones. If I still lived in Miami I would have went that way for sure. I have found this site to be wonderful and very informative. The members and their constructive opinions are what make this board great. As with anything , there's always one in every crowd. Regardless, welcome Beamer06 to the E90 group. Last edited by Thumpzilla; 10-21-2005 at 09:19 AM.. |

1. The 330xi is less than an inch higher off the ground than the 330i. Literally unnoticeable by the naked eye. Hardly sitting like a truck, unless you also believe that a regular 330i sits like a minivan. 2. BMW has been making xi AWD models for quite a while. Judging by the tone of your messages, possibly for longer than you've been alive. In all that time, they have driven exactly the way that the BMW designers and engineers have envisioned them driving. Saying that an xi doesn't drive like a BMW is supposed to is akin to saying that a Corvette don't drive like a GM car is supposed to. It's ridiculous. It has a different driving dynamic than a RWD BMW, perhaps, but it drives EXACTLY like a BMW is supposed to. 3. Don't worry about sounding mean; you merely sound ignorant and belligerent. |

It actually only sits 0.2" higher than a standard 330i
