What car would you buy next after your 1?

What car would you buy if you didn't want to downgrade.. As of right now I'm looking into a GTR, if I find one for the right price. Since I don't like to keep my cars for long and I'm more into leases I'm afraid of purchasing since a brand new GTR is out of the question. Plus the maintenance will no longer be free, and just a down pipe for the car is like $2,000 But with the new 2 and 4 series coming out I might just want to stay with BMW.

What cars are you guys thinking of getting?

M235i or the new GTI, these cars are getting too hi tech and too pricey.

I would like to get a Caymen S next. I'm not to concerned with having a whole bunch of speed. Of course, who knows what my price range will be like in two or three years. That will be the big factor in which vehicle I get next. Who knows, I could loose my job, have to sell the 135i, start working at McDonalds and buy a 92 Corolla...

Tons of ppl stay with BMW once they get there so.....

BUT! I fully believe in a mans life he should own cars with a turbo 6 (check ), a V8 and a V10/V12. So I honestly dont know what car I'd buy next but with all the ECO shit V12s, V10s are becoming rarer and rarer. Similar feelings toward manual cars. Love dual clutch but not nearly as satisfying or enjoyable as rowing through the gears.

This. RS3 looks like a beast. Plus turbo 2.5L 5 cyl motors sound awesome.

I will probably go for the S55 M3 coming out, or possibly the M235i. Going to stick with BMW for a while. Though I plan on hanging on to my 1er for at least another 3 years. After reading up heavily on info regarding the new M3 revision, it seems they are actually heading in the right direction.

Multiturbo straight six has me really keen. And projected to be about the same weight as the 1er. One word to describe it: Giddy.

Great question. No clue how to answer as I just got this one! I'm fairly certain the f30 and the m235i will not appeal to me enough to make a switch. After I'm finished with this 1 I'd probably get some sort of sporty sedan. Maybe back to ZHP or over to e39 m5, maybe e90 m.

Used Audi R8 assuming I can swing another car with only 2 seats. More realistically an F10 M5

The E39 M5 is one of my favorite past cars; just wonderful to drive. Truly hides its mass and is simply fun. If I do end up with an F10, it will have a lot to live up to!

Since I have a whole thread myself about what should I get after the 1M, suspecting that I have to sell it soon(er than I wish...long story!), here are my choices:

2014 Alfa 4C or new Porsche Cayman (has to be manual but not necessarily S version)
Keeping the 1M if I can is what I want most though

The alfa is a good call, but I don't think it's going to come in manual.

I'd like to build a E36 with a LS1. New cars are not that interesting nowadays.
