Best Pro-tunning Shop in Houston?

Hi there,

I'm going to Houston in January to pick up my exhaust and other goodies for my baby M.

I would prefer to have my stuff installed locally (for instance angel eyes)

suggestion about the best shop to go to in Houston?

thanks

Alex

No personal experience, but I've heard good things about Advanced BMW Repair.

If you're willing to drive to the DFW area Cobb is headquartered in Plano.

+1.

I've never used Alex, but everyone who has gone to him has been very pleased with his knowledge, service and pricing.

I don't believe he does ECU tuning and I don't have any recommendations for local Houston tuners.

Don't need to drive all the way to Plano Texas. Just go to Austin Texas which is much closer to Houston and they have a full shop there.

I have always preferred to get jb4+ flash(CObb) . You get the best of both worlds.
But if u would only like to use Cobb why not call PTF ?

I go to EuroCarWerk (www.eurocarwerk.com). Owner's name is Eric. Only guy you really will ever talk to is the owner. Awesome guy, knows his stuff. You will see Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche's anything and everything there. Top Notch place. I only take my cars there; and I used to work for a BMW dealer.

Guy used to own M3's etc. One time I asked him about some vibration problem gremlin I had and he told me the literal solution in 5 seconds from his experience racing M3s....ya best shop in Houston by far. Can't give these guys enough credit.

One time I had a bolt sheer on my brakes after I left his shop. Probably wasnt his fault, but towed the car for free immediately and fixed it immediately. Never tried to blame me or anything.

Thank you guys. This is very useful.

I just got my akra cat less downpipes today. I now have to make my mind about the mid-pipes and cat back.

I'm in love with the sound of the HMS axle back but way too expensive plus tips might be way too big, I like Lightweight Titanium too.. perhaps over akra. I'm thinking supersprint mids, but even for these, there are a couple of options

A bit lost in trying to make this decision. I want my car to be loud but without being irritating…

which one would go for?

Biggest power gain is from upgrading the midpipes. The stock axle-back is well designed & very light so it's hard to improve.
