1M Car Cover

I've never owned a black car before this 1M coupe and am now thinking of a car cover (BMW 1M OEM cover) to put on after washing and storing in garage. I've never owned a car cover either. It seems like the only time you'd want to install the cover is after good washing/drying. Seems like you'd potentially scratch if the cover goes on a car that has been driven. Is this the case? Only use when perfectly clean?

Garage List
Indeed so...especially if it's parked outside.

Another point to take into consideration is the 1M OEM car cover is not soft inside unlike some other BMW car covers...I don't have it cause I don't need it really but that's what vendors say and somebody who actually owns the cover should confirm.

I use the OEM cover and after a drive I Gently dust the car with a California Duster before putting the cover back on. I also dust the cover with the Cali. Duster before I remove it and store in the trunk in it's own built in bag. Like the cover very much. No scratches at all doing this.

I need a cover too. I have a great garage at my house but when I sleep at my girlfriends house, I have to park outside and it always gets dirty

My car is sittting outside and I got a car cover, but i give it up after the first time i put it on, too much hassale to put it on. IMO a car cover is good if you are parking your car for a long period, say, at least for a few weeks. Too much pain if you drive it once every few days
