Congrats on picking it up, are you going with the "dealer" method to break in the engine? Also did you actually order it 4 years ago, thats nuts.

Can you compare the engine/exhaust sound of your 135i to your dads 335i sedan. Is the 135i louder?

Geeez, I was happy for me until I saw your post...

...now I'm glad for you... Congratz...what a great thing to get the very first 1, on a Saturday, so you can have the weekend to enjoy and explore (and put as many break-in miles on as possible).

I just got my production number (3932XXX) yesterday...now the real wait begins!

Go out and take a fast corner for me!

Two quick question...

Congrats again! :drinking:

How is the room in the back seat for the booster/child seat? Can your son get in/out OK?

Second, any mods yet?

Hey, Jack. Otto's has two 135i demonstrators on the lot if you want to go take a look. I was there today and surprised how much more room there is in back than the MINI.

Congratulations, Ringmeister - that's a gorgeous car! Pointless to say this, but: enjoy

I put my deposit down with the same SA in October, and he told me that he had someone ahead of me on the list, who had a deposit in for 2 and a half years!!

Have fun with the car. We all apreciate the continued information. Not many people have driven the US Spec cars yet!

Plenty of room unless you put the front seat all the way back.

MSRP $38,525

Brake regeneration, basically I can't tell a thing but there is a light hum coming from the engine compartment when the car is shut off. Don't know if that's normal.
