I went to Target and bought a package of three smaller suction cup hook thingies like those pictured for $0.99. They worked rather well. I initially tried the suction cup mount for my GPS, but it wouldn't grip the caps at all. Without this DIY I probably would have gone after them with picks and screwdrivers, which knowing me probably wouldn't have turned out well.

put my new ones on today. The suction cup from my gps worked great.
Nice look! Much nicer than the old ones with the weathered outer rim area. Got the bimmer valve caps too, will see how long they last! |
