Did you have the nannies turned off? Nice bit of driving (I think your instructor agreed!) in any case--had me on the edge of my seat. Showed how broad power band is on our car--you only used 3rd and 4th right?

Thanks, I had it in MDM mode. My instructor, Peter, from Boston was the best instructor I have had! Yes, 3rd and 4th. On some laps, I went into 5th on the back stretch, but not for long.

Nice driving, I'm back to Mosport this week for some laps. Curious, what kind of speeds were you getting at end of straightaway? I believe I was at about 225-230.
For sure, this track highlights how broad the power band is, only need 3rd and 4th gears. |

The speedometer was probably reading 225 km/h. Actual more like 220.

Great bit of driving! I was there second week of June and got to experience the track in the wet and the dry. The 1M is so versatile on that track. If I remember correctly I spent most of my time in 3rd and then used 4th on the straights. Car is just perfect for track work though!
