VO with black wheels: too racy ?

It's an all or nothing proposition IMHO with the VO...black wheels, kidneys, tinted side indicator lights....SWEEET! Goes really nicely with the Shadowline and black side mirrors too

I didn't want to change the color of the stock wheels, but you just made me doubt showing your pictures

Alternative: keep the wheels stock, but fix the LUX angel eyes at the wrong spot in order to get a Star Wars look 'n feel !

and btw...you were looking for opinions. dude, it looks GREAT! this is what i'm shooting for when I get mine finished (on BSM though).

Anyone consider or have black rims on a AW or VO but with a AW/VO time-attack ring to break up the "black-ness"?
I know time-attack rings are considered "played-out", but I think it could look pretty good, not too sure though, things usually look better in your head

I can't think of anything that looks worse on a car of any kind than Black Wheels.
