Which RFT brand?
Not wanting to get into the debate of RFT vs regular, what brand of RFT would you recommend for a 2012 135i? All comment welcome.

Michelin. I'm running PS/2 ZPs in the rear and they stick like glue and are much quieter than my stock GoodYear runflats. They also make the A/S if you're looking for a winter tire. I've heard good things about that one. Unfortunately, they don't make the PSS ZP in our size yet...
Bridgestone makes some quieter/smoother run-flats that are not the 050 in the all-season category, but the performance S001 RFT lacks any treadlife warranty. My dad runs the Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT on his 328i and is really happy with it's performance, even thought all-season.

I got stuck with Good Year LS-2 RunOnFlats when I took delivery of my non-M-Sport configuration. They are the worst. It's like driving on ice-skates and very loud. I thank the City of Austin for cracking the sidewall of one of the rear Good Years on a pothole within the first 10k miles and took the opportunity to put something much better (and cheaper) on.
The Michelins also handle water much better - as good as any tire I've ever had. I didn't drive them in the ice-pocalypse last spring, so I can't comment on super cold weather handling. I didn't drive on any of the ice days, actually. The 1er is too precious.

Are you replacing all four tires? What size(s) are you running?

When the time comes, yes, I will replace all four. Right now I am undecided as to stay with RFT or go conventional. There is more information out there that only tends to confuse me more than I already am.

Non RFTS are cheaper, ride better and provide more grip. RFTS are a total waste of money. Sorry to bring the topic where you didn't want it but i've had both and i was constantly disappointed with run flats.

^ +1 , It ruins the ride, numbs the steering feel and doesn't grip well compared to conventional tyres. If you get a puncture carry a space saver wheel or a small 12v compressor. way more economical and a better all rounder solution

Thanks to everyone who commented on my question. I will be changing to regular tires when the time comes. I have found a suitable spare tire and tools to store in my empty trunk. Tks again.
