Tints / Taillights
The humidity slightly fogged the camera, but you get the idea. Looks a bit better in person , ive gotten quite a few compliments on the car and the tints already and i did it today. ( Tints are 35% 3M Film )
I was going to have the guy box the white out so it wasn't tinted, but im glad he called me before i took a razorblade to my taillight, afterall im kinda happy i didnt leave it untinted, some cars dont look right with the reverse tinted, this isnt one of them imo!

i believe 3m only distributes their stuff in large commercial rolls from what i hear and you need an account with them. I got mine done at Auto-Image in NJ, ive had them do some other work for me too, and they do some great stuff. the 3m tint is guaranteed for life and will never fade etc.
the tails are done with a thicker tint, and is essentially the same as regular tinting. I dont like razorblades cutting into my taillights, i mean, i wouldnt mind it if the taillight tints were legal, cause then theyd never come off. however theyre not, so i may be forced to remove them some day |
