OZ ultraleggera 18x8 et40 with 235/40/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 HD

The car is a stock 2011 135i. No rubbing.

Tyres: Michelin Pilot Sport

Front: 18x8.0 and 225/40/18
Rear: 18x8.5 and 255/35/18

Suspension: Stock

No issues or rubbing.

TC Kline single adjustable, 30 threads from bottom, Turner Motorsport camber plates maxed out, rolled and pulled fenders
1 finger fender gap front, 2 finger gap rear
front
camber -2.5 deg
toe 0

rear
camber -2.0 deg
toe 0.2 deg

Basically at fender lips all around, this is an aggressive fitment only possible with fender modifications. Looking from below I have a TON of strut clearance though. Might lower the car slightly

I'm running these

MKW M116 Satin Black Wheel (18x8"/5x120mm, 40mm offset)

with 225/40R18's Firehawk 500's and get no rub at all. Stock suspension.

sorry it's so dark. i need to take some better photo's.

Glad they are working for you! I had to revert to 17x8 Kosei K5R et45 with PSS 225/45/17, they are left overs from my now dead & parted E39 540i. Just ran my 1st auto-X in the PSS and they're ok.

Did you roll and pull all around? or just roll the rear fenders? Damn....the fitment looks meaty and I was thinking of going a similar size...looks like 255/35/18 won't fit the 18x9 ET45 rears on my car.....

They are pulled and rolled by the PO, albeit poorly. I need to pull the fenders where it meets the front bumper further as it still rubs there. ET45 would be ideal if I had that option. Guessing you have K8s. Getting the points where the lips meet the bumpers is important

Picked up a set of Enkei NT03RRs. Got greedy wanting a more "concave" face so I did 18x9 ET45 all around.

What tire exactly are you looking to fit? Extreme performance summers just have such massive shoulders- my previous setup was 18x9.5 ET45 with 255/35 MPSS. It never, ever rubbed, and the rounded edge of tires like MPSS = more clearance.

If you're doing a tire like mine, all bets are off, you need to roll/possibly pull, but a MPSS might not need it at all. You probably want like 5-10mm of spacer in the front. I'm enthusiastic enough about 9" square setups being viable that I'm on the hunt for 9.5" square ~ET45 for 265 all seasons. I have strut clearance for days and quarter panel clearance on my last 9.5" setup was very good. ET45 is the "right" offset if you ask me

Frankly, I've been measuring based on the tread width on the tires listed on Tirerack. Current options vary between 225-"245" tires. All in the Extreme Perf. category including Hankook R-S4s, Conti ExtremeContact Sports, MPSS, RE71R and the Direzza ZII Star Specs.

I've found them with their tread widths to sit approximately around 8.5 inches across...on a 9 inch tire, I think gives it the right amoutn of pre-load to maximise handling up front...As for the rear...255 is widest I'd go. Probably whatever is similar to the 255 MPSS in terms of Treadwidth.

I might stick with 245s though that is your call. With all of those tires it seems you will need to roll your fenders at the very least (except for the Contis and MPSS of course). Let us know when they're on, I would love to see them work.

How do you like the tires? I am choosing between these 235/40/18 or the more expensive Conti ExtreContactSport. My wheels are would be ACS type 3 18x8.5 et43

Just installed 235/40 and 265/35 Yokohama Advan A/S' on stock 135i M-sport suspension and 264 wheels. No rubbing anywhere, but I do have rolled fenders.

I think they fill in the wheel wells nicely. Ride much quieter and smoother (naturally) than the Ventus V12s on there previously. Definitely feels a little less responsive, but still handles like a German car should.

as long as you roughly follow OEM fitment,you shouldn't have any problems running 245 rears/215 fronts (apparently you can use 225s but i don't want to risk rub on full lock or anything).

OEM fitment for M-sport wheels is 18x8 ET48 front/ET52 rear iirc.

i know i'm going to get hate for this setup. i'm not autocrossing this car or interested in performance at all because there isn't a track anywhere to autocross it in the first place (and then people aka muggles wonder why we all get our kicks on public roads; go figure.)
