Camber plate adjustment
I apologize if this has already been covered.
I just installed ST XTA coilovers. After installing the fronts I realized it's a huge PITA to adjust the dampening or the camber plates because of the diagonal strut braces. Are there any strut braces on the market I can buy that aren't in the way of my camber plates? Would it seriously affect the rigidity of the strut braces to drill a 1/8" hole in them? (I don't like this idea, but a friend suggested it) What have people done to deal with this issue, or do people remove the strut brace every time they need to adjust something? Thanks in advance! |

So the ST XAs come with camber & rebound dampening adjustment correct?
Do you remove the camber pins on install? W/ the 1M brace you can reach the adjusters for both up front. How do you get to the rear dampening? Remove or cut the trunk liner? How's the ride?

I'm not sure about the XA's (or if you just mistyped), but the XTAs do, yes. There are no camber pins on the camber plates that come with the XTA's. For the rear I plan on just removing the trunk liner, once I figure out where I want it set I won't have to mess with it. The coilovers ride very well - the car seems stiffer and more planted but at the same time more comfortable than stock, if that makes sense. The car is much more composed around corners, and I haven't even had the car aligned yet.
