Sorry, but the rear wheels aren't wide enough. It looks like a square set up. Flare out the rear fenders more so we can put serious rubber on and you're getting there.

It could be possible that the different mules are testing different things. The sedona red mule looks to have a wider track than this, as you mentioned.
The black mule with the psychadelic markings on it may not have a track as wide because it might be testing different components--aka, the tweaked N55.... Remains to be seen, that's for sure.... Maybe SCOTT can weigh in and clarify?

The Sedona red mule has a rubber or plastic fender flare on it. The fenders on the black M1 that we current see looks like the final shape.

Did some basic mule picture comparisons in Illustrator, and I believe the REAR fender flare between both mules is "almost" identical.

Nice work Chris--I guess my theory is wrong.
I think the black rubber pieces on the Sedona mule made the think that the rear end was "wider" than it really appears to be. Thanks for setting me straight.

No worries--I appreciate you looking into the direct comparison--I should have taken a closer look, as you did, and appreciate it nonetheless.
