NYIAS was fantastic.... what I remember of it.

Travel back and forth was horrendous though.. Planes, train, automobiles, trams, bus, taxis, and more of each due to flooding issues.

Andy, because of many of the tunes now being switchable from the drivers seat, there's serious talk of accessing the points on the IMF if it simply installed.

There would be no way to police if drivers had it turned on or not, and it makes it very easy for people to cheat if we don't do that. It also makes it easy for others to claim people are cheating, and file a challenge that we could never truly test for. BTW, definitely not saying you'd cheat.

It is tough enough to police bolt-ons, alignment, gearing, and tire/wheels changes, but at least those things you can see or test for. We don't want to have a "take my word for it" category.

It's not in stone, but highly likely to get enacted soon.

doesnt matter to me what class I am in really, just trying to have fun, I won't be taking it out just to get into a certain class, but that is kind of upsetting for people who are honest.

We had two people last season who already ran with it installed, but "turned off", and we had issues with others complaining to us (understandably).

Now that there's more n54's and most tunes are switchable, it's the only fair thing to do for the series... We certainly are not going to data log cars.
