Thanks man. Fitment in the front "looks" perfect but does not "drive" perfect. Fender mod is a must, which I will be doing soon. As for the rear the 19x9.5 is really tough I might be rubbing against the inner liner or somewhere inside but not the outside of the fender. I suspect that 265 would work but they would rub because of the 19x9.5. Right now the 255 rears are a little stretched due to the 9.5 rear. But the front and rears look pretty even to me. The perfect setup would probably be 19x8 with 225 and 19x9 255 and no fender mods should be needed. My extra .5 up front and back really throws everything out of proportion and I MIGHT be able to fit 265 in the back and it would look nice and full, I just don't want to risk it now. I will try 235 and 265 in the future when my tread life is down, which should be pretty quick on a RWD car

If you still haven't gotten an alignment, then I think I'd "pull the pin". The extra camber will probably fix the front rubbing easier than fender work.

What does pulling the pin do technically speaking? To the alignment.

Did you have your alignment rechecked after installing your springs? Most let the springs/coilovers settle for a week or so then have it done.

Actually it probably would not mess up your alignment if you just removed the pin at the top of the struts and moved them in as far as the screw holes will allow. This will probably give you enough camber to stop your rub. Too much camber though and you'll wear out the insides of your tires too fast.

What center caps are you planning? Did you get some wheel locks? I even struggled with lug color and finally went with a set of polished gorilla lugs and locks.

I'm going to see what my guy suggests pulling the pin seems like a good idea and if I do it minimal then it would help with handling too or so I've read. I've been thinking metallic blue, gloss black, or silver lug caps, but cam't really decide yet haha. I'll probably fall back on gloss black so it doesn't make the wheel look even bigger with the silver VMR centers I'm putting on. I'll leave that till after I finish the fender mods/adjustments.

So you are rubbing up front with 452's in 235? That is so odd, Eyeman and myself both had that same set up with no rubbing. Do you rub alot, or just on hard dips?

What mad to go with 40 series in the back as opposed to 30?

Well on a normal drive I don't rub, it's super flush. If I go on a dip or bump then it'll hit the fender or the plastic tab, not sure which. I'm just going to do a roll and cut down the tab. Sounds like metal clanking when I hit a dip though. As for the rear maybe squeaky springs? lol I'll know after it all settles.

As for why 40 and not 30 in the rear.... believe it or not we could not find a 255 30 or 35 for the rear from Falken Does it make that much of a difference? BUT I'll double check in the morning to see if it really is 30 or 35, maybe I just misread.... Cause I don't see it.

Yeah a basic roll up front should do that. Only under really hard dips would mine make that sound. I could never find anything on the tire so I left it. Removing the pin should also help. My springs were really squeeky at first so give that some time. Look around the rear for any missing paint to see if it is rubbing.

The 35 series should rub less as it is less tire. I think it looks fine as it is though, and it is safer. Just do a mild roll in the back and you should be fine.

No, I don't recommend cutting the fenders. No matter how good they do it, it might cause rust problems down the line. Rolling is probably the best way to go, and use a proper rolling tool with a heat gun, not a baseball bat or a pipe, that just chips up your paint.

Your front looks ok, but your rears look like they'll be the problem. You're way jacked up in the back so if you're not rubbing already, when you lower your rears an inch or so it probably will. I had my rears rolled twice, and had some negative camber put in (-1.5 degrees or so should do), and I had to set my suspension to a little firmer than what I had. Safe to say now I'm rub free, even with 4 people + crap in the car. Although YMMV since you have 265 vs my 255, but your offset is 45 and mine is only 40.

As for the fronts, I hope you're not rubbing because there's not much you can do about it except trimming the inner plastic a little, but that's kind of pointless since you can just let the tire rub it down anyway. Again, it's just plastic so there won't be any rust issues. Maybe negative camber, I put -0.9 up there I believe.

edit: just read you have 40's in the rear... I know it sucks since you already have the tires but I'd try and get 35's in the back if at all possible. 40 will just make the diameter too big, and hence more rubbing.

I can tell I'm certainly rubbing up front, I'll try a fender roll and see if that works. If not I'll mess with the pin, since it does seem like a minimal adjustment.

Yeah when I was rubbing in the back it was mostly that little part that sticks out, not really the whole fender. But camber is actually pretty easy to adjust if you take it to a good alignment shop, and it'll be like 100 bucks to do all 4 at the most. Helps handling in the corners too (not sure if you're into tracking the car, heh...)
