128i Convertible car cover for snow?
All: I finally bought a 128i convertible last month - my second BMW (first was a '72 2002). I live in southern New England and will need to keep the vehicle outdoors all winter - I have ordered snow tires and will drive with same when roads are plowed; I have a Subie to drive on sloppy roads. However, I was wondering how the convertible top holds up in heavy wet snow - does anyone use a car cover for such conditions? Say, if you know a big storm is coming and you won't drive for a while, put the cover on? If so, any recommended covers? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I would say first line of protection is a good coat of raggtopp. The coating should help keep the top from getting soaked and frozen. It might even help with clearning snow from it.
Mine is garaged, but I try to apply it before winter. |

I'm also in CT but my convertible never sees snow or rain.
I would say a decent car cover wouldn't hurt though.
