Question for E91 owners: Panorama sunroof
When driving the E91 on a breezy day with the sun shade open, but glass roof closed, there seems to be too much wind noise. So much so that I look around to be sure no windows are open.
I've also noticed that if I push lightly on the closed sunroof from outside it will go down - maybe 1/8". There seems to be some play in both panels, which the sedan does not have. Does anyone else with the panorama sunroof notice this? I plan to ask the dealer to look at it and see if it can be adjusted, but I'm curious if others are experiencing the same thing.

LED
I just walked 15 feet from my desk and checked. It does have some play in it like you say but I am not sure if yours may have more play.

E91 Wind Noise
Just went out and checked my Mar 2006 E91. I too have noted some wind noise when the interior panel is open (silent when closed). Yes, there is about 1/8" play in the front panel.
I've also noticed that driving with sunroof all the way open above 45 mph is very noisy and with rear windows down (independent of sunroof position) feels and sounds like a helicopter. Jim 2006 Electric Red E91 |

We have a normal sunroof on our X5, and the only noise when the interior panel open is the CONSTANT RAIN THAT WE'VE HAD FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
