So I got this car about a year ago and have slowly began making it my own over the past few months. (Sorry about the poor image quality). Can only afford a few modification at a time so its a slow process but will eventually have a final thing.
Modifications so far: M Performance Carbon Lip Spoiler M Performance Black Front Grill Carbon Dipped Wheels Metallic Blue Callipers De-badged Windows Tinted Future Modifications: LCI Blacklines Interior Work Tinted Side Indicators and more... hopefully |

It cost me to have all 4 wheels done £300 and took 2days, had no idea how it would turn out but just went for it, thought it would tie together nicely with the carbon spoiler, and hopefully a few other bits when I get round to it.

Thanks for the insightful post! How is durability in the rain or over the long term? |

From personal experience, painted rims are a waste of money. A more durable coating like powder coat is what is suggest. Obviously you won't get these fancy patterns like the op though |

All honesty I haven't got a clue how there gonna hold up, I've had them done just over a week now, Rain & washing etc I believe they will be just fine, however stone chips or if I decide to play dodgems with a curb then I fear they may ruin easily, however for the time being and fairly cheap I thought it would be different from other wheels so gave it a shot, and as long as they don't ruin then I think they look pretty awesome

So I've decided to trade in my 118d before getting all the work I had intended on doing finished, and gone straight to the other end of the performance range for the M235i - picking it up tonight & I can not wait, feel like a kid a Christmas
