Help! My top won't close!

2012 N55 E88.

Did a pretty major service tonight, and pulled the negative terminal off the battery for JB Stage 1 Install, with the top down.

Buttoned everything back up. No CEL. Went for (9 mile!) drive to check oil level. Good.
Set clock.

The top won't go up!

Is there a secret code I need to run to convince it that it's okay?
Pull and reinstall the fuse?
Anyone experienced or heard about such a thing willing to make a suggestion?
I already started/stopped the car a couple times, locked/unlocked, checked the partition and trunk closing, and tried both keys.

Thanks for any help or insight you can offer!
- Tom

Congrats on the juice box install- how's it feel?

For the top, clearly I'm still a noob here, and have never owned a vert. But generically do you see any electrical load when you hit the button, anything indicating it's trying? If not I'd start with fuses and a meter and follow the electricity.

I've been reading pretty heavily the last few months, but don't recall anything about resetting verts after a battery disconnect like you do with one-touch power windows in some cars.

If it becomes needed I've got serv manuals & wiring diagrams for troubleshooting, but they're on a VM that I'd have to get set up again, won't be able to get the chance till tomorrow.

Thank you.
It was 2am so I didn't do much troubleshooting, and now I need to head to work. But if I can't get it sorted I'll check.
I do hear a slight click when I press the button, but holding it doesn't seem to activate all the happy little solenoids.

On the JB front - I like it so far, but haven't done much with it yet. I was just running 'er through the gears to "teach" it, and to get to operating temps to verify oil fill. Then I was cold and tired and came home.
It did feel rather more urgent when I gave it some boot, has some cool pops and snaps I don't recall hearing before, and I thought I heard some wastegate on an uphill drop - throttle.
Will know more as it adapts to my car, I adapt to it, and I get a chance to go WOT.

Sadly my only open on-ramp in the last couple days GPS didn't register on the lap timer, so I didn't get to grab a "before" acceleration run time.

Baby car is a crazy car.

This morning, of all days, it decided to rain. Much needed - but impetus to figure out the top issue!

Searched all over the web for top reset / what to do.
Who put the fuses behind the glove box? Didn't really want to do that.
Manual top raise looks like a pita. Didn't really want to do that. But was preparing for it.
Recalled that the windows were down last night when trying to close top. Shouldn't be an issue - but may be related?

Closed windows with the "full auto" button. Passenger side front didn't go up. (Happens occasionally, though more often it's drivers.) Put it up with the individual window control.
Hit the Top Up button. Windows notched down slightly, and the top came up!
Whew!

Let it rain!

See how the new Michelins do in the stuff with a JB pushin' 'em...
