Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has bought stuff off these guys? They gave me an invalid tracking number with tnt and they haven't been responding to my emails. Been attempting to contact them with zero results and I've escalated the matter to paypal. I'm getting worried....... |

Doesn't surprise me.
Have you read through the black line LCI tail light thread? Close to a dozen members have had issues with him... including me. If you're still within your 45 day Paypal dispute period I'd suggest you get a refund and order elsewhere. I believe some members are continuing to have good interactions with him so i'm confused as to why he gives the silent treatment to others. Anyway, you'll find the general consensus on here is to avoid them (look in the vendor review section for the thread) |

There goes the 'good vibe' of my long weekend!
When he emailed me to confirm that the order had been processed with the tracking number, the email was dodgy as. Hi Tony Your order is ready for dispatch. It can be tracked at TNT.com The tracking number is 472850731 Regards Danny Message sent via Atmail Open - http://atmail.org/ That was all. Since then he vanished. Its like a casual personal email. So fREAKIN MAD NOW |

How long ago did he send that email? If it was only a few days ago, maybe it hasn't been picked up yet? Just an FYI, all his emails are short and concise... so don't let that bother you.
However... Here are some excerpts from that LCI thread. These members later went through paypal for a refund. Quote:

I had a not so great experience with him with the black lines.
ordered them, told me they would ship monday ... and they didnt ship for about 2-3 weeks after that. in that time he ignored my emails. He only seems to reply when he has the part and is certain it is sent. Otherwise he seems happy to first take your money, give you a false delivery time, and leave you hanging. |

I'm telling you these guys screwed me over big time. I was going to make a post about them, but decided against it. Now I have the opportunity to say that yes, they take ur money and do not reply to your emails. They only replied to mine when I opened a dispute with PayPal.
Up to now (6-7 weeks) my goods have not arrived. |

I got a good one here. Ordered some brake discs from them (although at a pretty good price) in Feb. He told me he needed to get it from Germany and take a week to get to them and then dispatch. 2 weeks later I had to ask him where my discs are and he said they just arrived and will dispatch right away. Heard nothing until April, and I had to emailed him like 10 times for him to reply. He said TNT picked it up 4 weeks ago, and he said he sent to my PO Box therefore the parcel was just sitting at TNT UK. (TNT wouldn't have except parcel addressed to PO Box). So he said he will resend again to a street address right away. 2 weeks later in May, I emailed him again asking where is my parcel and I demanded my money back. It was only till then he confirmed he has the discs shipping from Germany. I got the discs in June from Germany. He didn't send shit until 3 months later and that I wanted my money back. Shocking!!!

My dispute has gone through and I will be getting my money back.
Thanks guys for all the heads up! Just didn't feel right. A good business, local or international should take no more than 24 hours to reply unless it's the weekend. Hope everyone reads this before buying overseas! |

Well I've just been quoted $1450 (BMW dealer) for supply and fitting of a set of front rotors, pads and sensors for my E70 X5. After reading all the bs people have been through I honestly can't be bothered ordering the parts online.

There are others you can order from both in the uk and us. I guess for me the only hassle is knowing which part/s you actually need. Contact Rey he ordered his entire car online, with a new part arriving every week |

Had the same issue with these guys...they said the item had been sent when in fact it hadn't, they then stopped replying to emails and the item arrived 8 weeks later..never again!!
I have used http://www.bmminiparts.com/Home.aspx a dozen times and they are excellent, postage costs are on the expensive side though |

pelicanparts - lets just say a few independent BMW service centres in Melb use them as their primary source of major parts
