This is by me and heard about it on the news. Sorry to hear. I only saw one other 1M while I owned the car and to date have never seen another one in the area.

Wow! That blast image looks insane! I had no idea a natural gas explosion could look that violent. Glad everyone is safe.

Smart move to call from outside the house! Unbelievable damage and all the more glad everybody's alright. Hope your family will fully recover from this.

Yes it was the gas explosion north of Chicago. There were no injuries.

amgthis, Thanks. My brother was out of town. His wife saw flames, put on her robe and left to call 911. 90 sec after she left, the home exploded. If she had stopped to put on her shoes, it could have been very different.

eeghi, Wrong answer. You missed the hint. The 1M was VO. Guess what that car was. A convertible maybe?
