What tires will fit on oem 17in 261M Rims

So i've got the 261M style wheels but they are 17s and i'm trying to figure out what size tire I can run. I tried searching here but all the 261M seems to be 18's. So if you guys could maybe help me out, that would be great. I'd like to put 225s up front and 240s at the rear. I was thinking of running star specs or firestone indy 500. I've got the stock m-sport suspension and i'd very much like to keep it all stock as I rather not use spacers, weird camber, get my fender rolled etc.

Thank you.

Are they replicas? You need to know the widths of the wheels to figure out what tires are optimal.

The OEM 261M is 18x7.5 with 215-40-18s and 18x8.5 with 245-35-18.

Assuming widths are the same, a 225-45-17 is a tiny bit taller than stock but will work fine for the front. The rear you'd run a 245-40-17.

I have no clue if they are replicas, they came with the car. How can I tell?

How about starting with a picture of the wheels?

Well as i'm looking at it I don't quite think they are 261M wheels anymore. I was going off my memory which is obviously untrustworthy. Not really sure what rims these are anymore, they do have the indentation for where the M sticker would go but they are long gone.

Those are aftermarket knockoffs of the E46 ZHP wheels (Style 135M).

Since they are knockoffs there is no way of knowing what width they are - the OEM ones are only 18" to start with. They may say on the backside of the wheel face (ie you take them off, flip them over and look around the hub area).
