Well i had to say the statement from CHRISTOPHE MERLEVEDE from mlv.be is WRONG

they arenīt produced by TAM Germany. i goggeled and came across these thread.

http://www.7-forum.com/forum/40/felg...-107690-2.html

this is about the the wheel 162 @ mlv.be but the whole sortiment is by TAM

Black BMW was on a poland autoshow and found that:
TAM = Thai Alloy Manufacturing Bangkok Thailand
http://www.thaialloywheel.com/
TA3189 ConceptRepWheels 19" BMW E65 F01F02 was written on the boxes.

also a call from me by the german http://tam-wheels.de/ stated out that they don`t produce these wheels. Germany stamp on the inner side is faked.
they came from thailand!!!

this is what i can tell.

about the quality i canīt say anything. maybe they good maybe not

Here was their response:

Hello,
Thanks for the pics..
When ordering 10 sets of wheels,I could offer you 15% discount.
These are german wheels produced by TAM in germany.
Pick-up of the wheels should be arranged by youself as we do not ship ourselves to US.
Best regards,

I sent a second email to confirm pricing on a set of 4 wheels 18x8f and 18x9r only. I will post it once I get a response and then we can start a list for the group buy.

15% off of a set with Goodyear F1 Assymetrics would be $1,532 + shipping. If anyone knows of a cheap way to get these wheels over here please chime in. I know for me and probably many others shipping may be the deal-breaker.

I was also interested in the group buy but it seems you guys will leave it after the news from E90?

I will probably tomorrow drive to MLV to take al look at the rims and check the weight.

Christophe says they weigh 7-8kg/wheel... I can't believe that.

I'll come back here later.

To me this is perfect as it will push the wheels out 15mm toward the edge of the fender AND you will gain an additional 3mm of clearance for both wheels!

This is what I got on my shipping scale. OEM 264's were 27 lbs for the rear wheel...

The news that they are made in thailand.

I would go to MLV, take a look and weigh the wheels but I just remind

that M3R1 probably already has weight the wheels...

I have been unable to source a reasonable shipping option. I am still interested in these wheels, but for me it is looking like a pass due to cost of shipping.
