A 135i can actually fit a 6-piece drum set

Sorry, no pictures (I was late, but my 6-piece gretsch can fit in my car alright, just put the bass drums in the passenger seat, and buckle it up!

And I can easily fit my 73 key Clavia keyboard + amp, gig bag and stand into the trunk of my 128i 'vert, albeit only with the top up. Unfortunately, the Rock 'n' Roller cart has to ride in the back seat.

Our 1ers are more practical for musicians than they look!

Oh yeah. I once fit 3 guitars, a 50 watt Mesa, an Orange Tiny Terror and 1x12, and a 48 key Yamaha and stand, and my computer rig.

top down, too.

This thread shouldn't have even been created if there were no pictures of said accomplishment.

sorry for bumping up such an old thread, but I was searching whether it is possible to fit the entire set of drums in an e82 and raisemyrent said it was possible.

That's nothing, I once had a set of four 18 " wheels with run flats mounted, as well as 4 new Hankook Ventus tires in the car as I drove to the tire shop.

Unfortunately, 2 more toms and a trap case, and they won't fit any more. I have to borrow my wife's GTI 4-door hatchback, which handles everything and still leaves the front seat available for a passenger. The room in the GTI is amazing, but I still prefer driving my 135.

Picture 4.... Airbag bump :-(

Hey, why all the 128 bashing? I am sure that all this stuff fits in 128's as well...

Then again... nothing swallows cargo like my old 318Ti. That thing was amazing.

I would never have guessed you could fit that in a 135.
Best I did was two tricycles with he top down.

I've been really impressed with how much cargo the e82 can hold. A lot of people I work with thought I was crazy when I purchased my 135. But I don't think there's been once that this car hasn't been able to haul something that I needed it to.

On a regular basis, here's what this car hauls: 2 cameras, 2 tripods, 3 head ARRI light kit, production monitor, 4 channel Mackie mixer, associated mics and audio cables, 4 weight bags, 2 accessory bags, my luggage, and a back pack. I'm impressed. Of course, if I need to add any more gear, I'm going to have to get the roof cargo carrier.

I'm really impressed with the space these cars have. All you need is a little ingenuity.

Oh, yeah - if you fold the driver's side back seat down, a 10 ft. length of conduit or pipe will fit diagonally through to the passenger footwell with the trunk closed. Wouldn't fit in the GTI!
