You're right A3ndy, SCA's pictures are what got me to start considering TiAg after being set on SG. I'm still leaning toward SG but TiAg sure does look awesome in these photos. They're some great pictures, what a nice neighborhood
I've yet to see the E90 in SG in any kind of good light though. I saw it at 8pm sunset, indirect light. Didn't look as impressive as I expected then. Last edited by Armen52; 05-04-2005 at 07:41 AM.. |

I think SG is a bit like Arctis, in the way it changes in different lighting conditions. I've seen many comments like yours on here regarding SG looking different, and it not living up to one's expectations. I think BMW marketing are the cause of this. I mean the SG in the adverts looks fantastic, and in most does not resemble the real thing. Shame really. Good luck with your decision. |

I think you're right hehe. They hired some really great photographers to set up some awesome lighting before they took pics of the SG car. Its nowhere near as dark in most photos as it was in person. Again though, I really should see it in better light.
I have to agree with other posters here and elsewhere that they have some really great gray metallic colors they could have offered but didn't. Silver Grey Metallic is one of them I believe. It looked fantastic on the E46 at the dealer. |

Yup, in all the official bmw SG photos there's so much light hitting the car that it looks almost gunmetal and almost bare-metal like. It's like these photos... there's so much nice lighting hitting it and that makes the color just pop out at you, but I've also seen pics of SG under overcast/dull lighting and it's just a dull looking gray.
