17s WILL clear the brakes. Also, plan on getting pulled over more with the black wheels.

I must be too old school, cause I have never understood the black wheel look. To me it just never looks right. A dark gunmetal is a nice compromise between the two and generally looks great. Just my opinion...

17x8 MOTEGI RACING MR118 BLK PAINT with 215/45R-17 General Altimax Arctic..
get Extra Load tires if possible (if you not getting RFT).. I didn't for my winter setup because i didn't know about them.. just ordered some conti DW XL (extra load) for my summer set up. I also went skinnier (215) cause I've read that this is better for snow traction

Hmmm I'm a little concerned about the size/offset combinations but I'm sure you've done your research.
I like #1 the most, but to tell the truth I'm not the biggest fan of any of them. |

Have you considered the 17 x 8" Sport Edition KM11 in Gunmetal finish? That's what I picked up last week and the color is really nice on an Alpine white.

Guess I'm in the minority, but I like black/anthracite wheels on the AW. If I had to choose out of the three #3 is the best. If you don't like black pick something besides number 2 imo.
