OMG E39 M5 V8 in a 130i - I've died and gone to heaven!!!!

As featured on 1addicts Homepage.

Look what I have found!!!

Wasn't sure where to post this as the Hatchback section doesn't get many viewing so I've put it here.

This 130i has got the S62 V8 shoehorned and it even has the step by step of the whole project!!!

Not sure how much is lost in translation but this is my dream!!!!

Details of the conversion can be found here -

http://translate.google.co.uk/transl...hl=en&ie=UTF-8

Here are some pics

I'd better start saving now!

Got ahead of myself, it's the E39 M5 V8 engine not the E9x M3 engine.

Was too excited!

Hahaha probably not, I'm guessing burnouts through at least the first 3 gears.

i have to disagree, i mean unless the engine is modified further than its stock configuration than i think it will be fine, that engine produces 400bhp so regular 135i (idk if it comes in a hatchback) with JB3 + intercooler+ downpipes should be making more hp than that car and a lot of people have around the same mods on this board.

nice, very nice with that cluster gauges as well, but why the Japanese insist on using Pink colour whenever they can, even if it's for a little bit. calipers? come on!
