BMW is phasing out the E8x performance parts manufacturing, if they haven't stopped already. As for LCI tails, they should still continue to make these. Try calling your local parts dept with the specific part number for the tails. Just ask for a quote and see what they say. I did this with the BMW PE as I'm going to buy it in a couple months when I take my car out of storage. Parts guy didn't know if it was still in production or not, but was able to tell me that there were 1103 PE's in various BMW warehouses in Canada when I called, so I knew there was no push to jump on it.

As for Blackline LCI's, my local dealer was able to get these direct from BMW in December, I just had to give them a part number and they were able to give me a quote and arrival time.

Thanks. That's not really an answer though. Im aware that they were standard equip on a single model. What I'm asking is if someone can definitively say that they will continue to be made.

Also BMWP parts/accessories have been discontinued for the E82 already.

Still waiting on mine from ebay seller, paid on the 31st and it took 2 weeks to ship then 2 weeks to get to the U.S.
Now they're in New York and have to make their way all the way to the west.

Got the blacklines in on Wednesday from Schmiedmann and installed them yesterday. No codes or fitment issues, pretty straight forward install. It was even easier because I had the trunk liners out due to a coilover install as well

Absolutely LOVE them!!!

Did anyone get a shipping confirmation for individual car consulting on ebay? Or does it just miraculously show up on your doorstep?

You get a DHL tracking number, which you use on dhl.de. On this page, you will get a domestic shipping number, which you use on usps.com. So yes, you will be able to track the package the entire journey.

Mine took 43 days. Most of that time it was with the USPS... customer service told me it was sitting in Germany in a shipping container for three weeks waiting to depart.

It wasn't TOO bad. I ordered them on the 16th of February (they were backordered), they shipped on the 26th, and arrived on March 4th.

For the people ordering from Schmiedmann are you getting hit with any extra taxes and duties? I called my dealership and they had it in their system at $467+taxes CDN, just trying to workout which would be a better option

we have shipped today with DHL and sent you tomorrow the trackingnumber."

Timeline:
3/11/15 - bought and paid same day
3/18/15 - sent message to seller to inquire about status.
3/18/15 - within an hour received the same exact message.

I've gotten a tracking code from them 2 days back. It's still processing in Germany. Not sure when i will get them. I'm located in Singapore.
