I was going to try a set of PIAA H8 direct replacement bulbs. Seems to be the easiest/cheapest option, just not sure how "white" the results will be.

Aren't PIAA bulbs the ones with error issues? Or was that nokya. Can't remember.

As mentioned above, we offer the LUX H8 V4 angel eyes which are a LED bulb, and LED's are about 5x more efficient then a halogen bulb so for a lower wattage you will get significantly more light. Our Lights are almost 2x as bright as a halogen bulb and as well they don't dim like the stock bulb.s

Yea I was looking at HIR technology as its 75% the brightness of HID with the cost of a normal halogen but they are only made to fit 9011 and 9012, plus their perfect white light and would give the look of HID or LED. their also only around 45 watts. I called Phillips and the tech is growing so h11 and other lights are possible in the future. 250 bucks is just to much to pay and loose DRL functionality as in daylight their hard to see as the optics are perfected for halogen not LED.
plus our company is currently looking at lighting technology that we could use in the light pipe to get the brightness of current BMW DRL's but have that nice white bright look. Fun stuff! |

I had GP Thunder 8500k's they burnt out after two months and light wasn't too bright but what did I expect for 20 bucks.
I have the Hellst angel eyes and I get a lot of compliments on them, they're H8 bulbs. The outer rings aren't as bright as the inner rings, it's noticeable but it's not too bad. |
