I have a defi gauge but have not installed it.. Its one of those "clean out the garage things" that might happen someday...I am concerned about using a boost gauge might cause an ever so slight boost leak that might affect my procede tune....

- It will be a full replacement of the plastic behind the steering wheel (on top) - it will hold two gauges one on each side. - Will fit e90/e92/e81/e82/e87 -very easy install pull off old clip in new. - Looks Oem |

If installed correctly there should be no boost leaks. If you are tuned/planning on tuning then a boost guage seems like a must. Great way to monitor things. |

Agreed. That's why i bought it. My plan was to mount it onto the upper left AC vent. Either attach it directly or create some fabricated replacement for that vent which will allow the boost gague to attach there...Thoughts anyone as to my plan?

I wonder if someone already makes a kit for that? I know AWE makes a vent gauge for the GTI, it looks awesome. I like the look of it more there than attached to the pillar or on the steering wheel.
