I need the black plastic cover for the OBD port. the clips from the cover broke and it falls off.

Local dealer wants $34 for a piece of plastic

If so, try a forum vendor like Tischer at getbmwparts.com. They sell it for $9.74 it looks like, but not sure what shipping costs.

Actually I searched ebay for that part # and found it for $4.48 it looks like with free shipping and a second one for $12 something with free shipping.

Thanks man! That is a much better price. But i took it for service this weekend, and they actually agreed on changing it for a new one as "warranty replacement"

But i took a look at getbmwparts and im looking foward to buy some parts from the site.
