bumping an "older thread here temporarily (as Im digging around on the forums)
Im changing out diff and tranny fluid (all puns intended) im set on redline 75-90 for the diff, and for the tranny it looks like the redline MTF is the way to go: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E82-128....0L/ES2739309/ just 1 quick question for the polar bear folk....how bad is it to run the MTL in cold temps..Im in VA and granted it gets below freezing but never quite like (-1X+) etc etc

It's really not bad at all. I had it all last winter, which had its decent share of snow fall up here, but I'd say it's just a little less agile than the stock fluid.

Changing the transmission fluid to Redline MTL in my 130i on tuesday 15 december.
And doing the CDV delete and brake fluid at the same time. Very curious about the results! I hope the shifting get's better afterwards. (comming from OEM MTF-LT-3 fluid) |
