Having owned many sets of various manufacturers - BBS remains at the very top of my personal quality scale. Their cast wheels are often better than many forged wheels in strength, performance, weight, and finish. The second brand on my list of favorite wheels is HRE (not counting the few years after the acquisition).

Currently running 18" CH-R's on my 135i. I don't drive the car much, maybe 2k since installation, but zero regrets on this set. There are two minor complaints I have about this wheel. 1) The protective ring is not easy to remove. Having owned original CH's prior I wasn't looking forward to the 'faux polished' lip 2) The aluminum BBS caps do not fit over the TPMS stems - so that's just kind of ugly looking.

Thx for the review!! How did you remove the ring?? That's one thing I don't like either....

BBS impul's on my 135i. This is an aggressive setup F18x9et38 R18x10et40. I'm taking the wheels off and putting on my ARC8s on to run thick rubber. Wish the 1series had better wheel fitment as the wheels are beauty's. Just wanted to give my experience with BBS, solid wheels definitely worth the money.
