Just had my roof replaced!
Last time i was in for service they advised me to book in for my roof to be replaced. The blemish on the canvas has been there for a while i just couldnt be bothered taking it to get it done but I think i only have another 6or so months left on my warranty.
Well after almost two weeks i finally got my car back today. The new roof is prefect. I hope it says that way!! Only thing is now my 1addicts sticker is gone

Well done.. I had my first roof replaced because of the blemish on the left side pillar..also lost my 1addicts sticker..
Then had that roof replaced as it was twisted and wouldn't align..again lost my 1addicts sticker.. Now on roof No3 and its has been perfect for the past 18 months.. |

I actually took mine to BMW when you made the thread about ages ago but never got around to doing it untill now. Plus I thought i would wait untill they had done a couple before they did mine hehehe I didnt want then to twist mine because it was the test dummy. Even took it through the carwash just to check for leaks and its all good!!

Hi Sarah.
Just to make sure the roof is correctly aligned, take the car for a run down the freeway with all the windows up, and listen for any unusual wind sounds that would not have been present with the original roof. I never noticed the roof wasnt correctly aligned, until we went for a drive to Wagga (4 hrs of annoying wind noise). Just double check while you still have some warranty left.. Joe |
