Is it because your soft top already showed signs of wear but no hole yet, and they didn't replace the soft top but only the spacers?

When dealer installed roof replacement, I was told that original problem was due to this alignment issue, so with the NEW roof that they installed, they fitted the "spacers" as a safety measure.. Didn't work, they replaced the roof a second time, and even at the time I traded the car back to the dealer, you could see the wear/ rubbing issue returning.. |
