I think it comes down to preference. On a 128i, you can get the aero kit or the M-sports package (March 09 and beyond), which has the M-bumper like the 135. So a 128 with the m-sports pkg should look exactly like the 135i but with foglights - like ulrichd's car.

The M-sports package is probably cheaper considering the aero kit would cost you the price of the kit + labor + paint AND it looks just like its more powerful sibling 135, so I imagine a lot of people will go that route

I actually like the aero kit much more than the M-bumper. I think it will be quite unique; so I am getting the aero kit for my 128i. I'll get it 3/5. I'll post some pictures up when I do.

Other then fogs and the motor being different (obviously) the 128i with the M-Package still has the smaller brakes right? 135 still has the bigger brakes... I think.

Right. I was just talking in terms of the look of the bumpers and skirts.

thats exactly what i did too. I didn't need the 300hp twin turbo engine of the 135i, so the money i saved going with the 128i allowed me to get the aero kit and some other extras, and my car still came in under the base price of the 135 (thanks in part to haggling with my dealer)

Should be arriving around the end of March, can't wait!

too bad the 128 rims suck, though. but those new 3-series sport wheels could remedy that!

Yes the 18-inch rims in Canada with the Sport package look really nice - IMO - but that's not the one they have in the States. In the US, the sport package rims are 17-inches, and not as nice as ours.
