Do you know where your ankles are? You are holding them. Seriously, the only thing I would even consider is the full maintenance upgrade if you are planning to keep the car for a good long time. And who knows how easily that would be to use?

Lol @ 2006bmw. I too am curious about the maintenance upgrades as I usually keep my vehicles for at least 10 years, and this 330i will likely be no exception.

OMG.

I didn't think that ANY stealership was still trying to lay the BS on this thick nowadays, obviously I was wrong. You don't want ANY of this crap at all. I'd write a letter to the owner of the joint and copy BMW USA and complain about this cheesy old-skool ripoff attempt. And I'd find another dealer PRONTO to purchase my car from. This is an abomination!

As you know Hassell is undergoing renovation of it's showroom. I walked in with my wife to more or less let her see where the money was going first. She asked a salesperson to use their restroom, and was told to use the port-a-potty they had set up outside. Here I am about to spend 50 grand, and they tell my wife to piss in a filthy hole. Can you imagine? Is this where the employees relieve themselves? I don't think so. Needless to say my business is going to another dealership. I am going to take the time to complain to BMWNA.

Who would I send a complaint to? (URL, address, names, etc.)
Thanks.

Thanks.

"BMW Centers are independently owned." BMW NA has very little control over dealers.

Actually the maintenence upgrade comes directly from BMW, but should be around $1100. JM&A warranties are good as well, but again they should be about $500 lower or so. Etch is worthless, and the tinting should be about $200. Body side moulding is not needed either.
If you are truly interested in any of those, I would get a better deal. The extended maint, and the warranty can be purchased later as well. My 2 cents. I have been doing this a while (10 yrs plus), Finance management that is. We try and sell products here as well, but don't try and take customers for a ride.
I would wait on the warranty, and maint. upgrade. Unless you are planning on financing it in the deal.

I'm amazed that any dealer especially a BMW dealer is trying to hawk this crap. I guess there are still a lot of suckers who take it.

Me, I'd walk out and go somewhere else.

If you paln on keeping your BMW a long time, extending your maintenence is not crap. If dealers didn't offer extended warranties they would be liable. Do you know how many times someone has about 55,000 miles on their car and gets hit with a huge service bill? The first words out of their mouth when asked about extended warranties or maint. is "it was never offered to me". It's usually followed by a bunch of kicking and screaming wanting BMW to pay for their repairs.
So, leave if you would. It's much better just to say no thanks.

It does benefit some, and can save thousands down the road, if you keep vehicles, or simply drive a lot of miles.
That is why I lease all my vehicles. I have been around BMW's a LONG time, and know how much they cost to repair and maintain.

Agreed, and I'm sure most others would here too.

But considering the other garbage and outrageous prices for that garbage that this stealership is trying t foist upon this poor guy, I'd have a REALLY hard look at their service plan before buying. In fact I'd run from this place at full speed and buy elsewhere.

I live just a couple of blocks away from Hassel and over a 5 year spand I purchase two bm's, neither came from Hassel. My first time there was after leaving a Benz dealer, talk about night and day. I still wanted a bimmer so I moved on (Open Road BMW N.J.).
