2008 BMW 135i MSport
So i just purchased a second hand 2008 135i Msport Auto with 36000 miles.
I want to start modding the car and there are soo many different things you can buy and i was wondering whats the best? I want the car to be a daily driver / weekend track car. I want it to look good also, functional mods that look sexy! Where the hell do i start? i have been reading the forums since 7pm and i still dont know which is good or not! |

Since 7pm Are you a performance or form modder? What's your budget? Are you still on RFTs? You need to provide more info of what you want in and from your car. A few more specifics and will net you more guidance. IMO I would focus on suspension 1st. But that's me! I ditched the RFTs and threw on an E9x front sway. And so far the BMW PS is the only thing I have been considering recently. Keep us posted and enjoy. Ohhhh unless your Will Hunting, you haven't scratched the surface to the wealth of knowledge this forum provides. "Since 7pm"

Non-rft's, front sway, coilovers, tune....in that order...then you decide whether you want to go for the pure WHP route or the road course/autox route:
Pure WHP: meth kit Road Course/AutoX: M3 suspension kit |

TAKE YOUR TIME
Nothing worse then jumping in and putting together a poorly thought out car. First, learn your car - Start by doing HPDE's stock. Figure out for yourself where the short-falls are based on your driving. Next, read up - there are a bunch of people here and on E90 post who have been through tons of R&D. Follow their lead. Finally, find a good vendor (preferably someone who tracks their cars also) |
