Just measured the CF trunk at 9.8 lbs. Some say it weighs 9.7 lbs, so probably +/- 0.1 lbs to be realistic. It is light as hell for such a big piece. You can pick it up with one finger.

I think he was asking how much weight the paint on the hood and trunk would add. I was wondering the same thing. Even if paint adds 5-10 lbs, that's still a damn good weight loss. Not to mention it looks

I actually meant cost, wise, but I couldn't see paint weighing that much. Somewhere around 10 ounces would seem reasonable.

Normally I'm not a huge fan of unpainted CF parts, but for some reason it's working really well on SG... now all you need is a CF hood/diffuser/lip... it never ends does it!?

Any plans to paint the CF or just leaving it as is? Looks great either way I think!
