AFE intake group buy

I contacted the manufacturer to validate the claimed gains everyone has been advertising on the AFE intake.

According to AFE the claimed numbers of 27hp and 34tq are based on dyno results with a STOCK BMW 335 on a Mustang Chassis Dyno.

They throw out the high and low dyno results and test until they have 3 consecutive graphs that are within 1hp and have the same basic curve.

I have contacted several vendors to set up a group buy and think we can get a decent deal. PM me for price.

Hrmm, we have this on our E92 and I know it did not lose power on that car. I'm doing this on my 135, I'll report for you guys

I had one independent tell me they saw a gain of 20hp and then the AFE claimed 24hp.

I had the AFE's installed a while back and did a dyno last month with no chip/ECU mods. I was kicking out 321Bhp on the dyno. The graphs are on the UK forum under Evolve posting. Tuner said they were the highest they had seen on a .35i engine to date. Some say the AFE's actually lose power, I can't say they did for me, they appeared to gain power.
