New member 09 135i random questions and advice ;)

Ok, I have a 09 135i and I love it have a few random questions if anyone is bored enough to assist me haha.
It has non heated leatherette sport seats if I added the switch and heated seats is it prewired?
Also I just found something on a eBay auction because I was wondering if there is a way to take control of both sides of the climate controls without having to adjust each knob if only one person is in the car? My car like most have the "rest" button on the passenger knob but I randomly ran across this control that not only implements the heated seat buttons into the ac controls but has a "ALL" button rather than the "rest" button and I have to assume that this would do what I have been wondering about with controlling the whole climate control system from the driver side if the all button is pressed? I could be wrong? And have no idea if this switch would even work plug and play? Just a thought here is a pic of the one I found with "All" .
Also my other maybe odd question is I have factory hids with halos and I can't help but wonder what the inner light that would be the high beams on a non hid can be used for? Is it just purely a cosmetic thing on the factory hid setup since they are bi-Xeon? Has anyone implemented anything into that section? I was thinking since the 135 did not come with fogs maybe some yellow lenses and some good bulbs can maybe give a unique look and serve as fogs? Just a thought! Thanks in advance guys! Also any advice you can recommend let me know it is a 6 speed manual and currently has about 82k miles so far!

Nice! Do you know if your car is Jet Black or Black Sapphire Metallic? My first 1er was BSM with Coral Red interior. Great combo IMHO.

Cool. Jet Black is beautiful, but is a bit difficult to maintain. Worth it, though. Good luck with it.

Thank you thank you maybe you can help with one other simple thing since you seem to be the only one awake haha I notice in my trunk where the spare would be is my battery and to the left of that "something" is missing I am guessing the air compressor and fix a flat junk? I would like to get that replaced but not sure what all is missing I took a pic but for some reason I can't post it with the phone app hopefully my description is good enough?

Welcome and congrats. You're not missing anything in that tray. That's just how they come. Also read the manual or google search the climate control directions.

I have the manual and did not see a way to take control of both sides with one side, unless I missed something or unless Google is that magical and has some secrets that are not in the manual? I just thought it was strange that I found one that says "ALL" and mine like most says "rest" in the same place lol I mean who really uses that rest feature lol conditions need to be perfect to even use it haha I would much rather have the option to take control of both sides with the driver side ya know! Haha thanks in advance guys

I just downloaded the manual for your car. It's doesn't appear you have the ability to match the temp on both sides and adjust it from the drivers temp control knob like you can on the 2011 and up models. I believe that's a LCI feature and update. Sorry to Steer you wrong.

Can someone explain to me how the inner lights on a factory hid lights work because I thought they were just for decorative reasons but today I discovered my driver side one illuminated for about 60 secs after I got in and started my car it was just turning dark and I leave my auto on feature on so my hids were on and only the right driver side inner light was lit? I am very confused lol

Ok I discovered on the way home that depending on the way I am turning my wheel the inner light illuminates... I am guessing this is something to do with safety can someone better explain it to me thanks in advance

If it says you have heated seats, you probably have heated seats. You sure you got the right VIN?
