Competition is your friend, go find another dealer needing a sale and let it work to your advantage. It's all part of the free world, I'd be very surprised if you don't start getting better pricing. Quickest way to get a deal from my experience.

I have a mate who decides what he wants then emails a whole pile of dealers with his requirements, so they can see each other on the distro. He's gotten some good deals that way in the past....hard to play the customer loyalty card though...

Yeh, SRs are like that. If you don't have one though they are definitely less saleable down the road in my experience with out one.

I stopped ordering SR, but many people in the second hand market going to the prestige love one. It doesn't worth a thing, but make your car easier to sell to most people. Kenny and enthusiast would be an exception of course .

Now, 85k sounds average - you should able to budge more. There had been some cracker of a deal some members were able to get > 10% recently. If you can wait, see when it is going to be on promotion when BMW throws in support. I have post in many threads before how dealers usually work. Generally, an ordered car fetch around 7-10% as long as the dealer didn't over inflate the delivery.

Haven't spoken to my dealer for a while, so don't know what's on deal at the moment.
