Pretty cool that U.S. spec cars get multifunction steering wheel as standard too.

Interior looks nice, I just hope it will have the saddle brown leather as an option.

I'd be happy with the "sporty and comfortable Leatherette"

That tiny and very circular instrument cluster hood looks a bit dorky and tacked-on... BMW should have gone with the smoother flowing hood seen in the 3 series.

All of these pictures seem different... this car was in California, note the placement of the radio, it's different...

I may not be seeing it but how is it different? It looks the same only one has the tray open and the one you posted has the tray closed...

The center stack is different (although it's subtle). In the most recent the HVAC is in the center, while in the earlier shot it was on the top.

Ooo now I see, I was looking at the all black leather one, the difference is seen in the one with red cloth inserts...

It's different because it isn't equipped with Nav (and subsequently iDrive which replaces the normal radio display).

So this is what the interior looks like w/o Nav and the dreaded iDrive - a nice little storage bin atop the dash for your speeding tickets. ; -)

In that one the HVAC controls were of a cheaper version, which according to another thread the US won't be getting (thank goodness).

Gotcha, it looks good without the NAV, that top slot looks like a nice place for a possible boost gauge, which the car will undoubtebly need at some point

First modification to ANY forced induction vehicle should be a boost pressure gauge...

I'll be interested to see how the interior comes, I'm liking the non-nav look...

What do you think the three buttons in between the heated seats are?
